Braised Lamb Shank, with Garlic Mash and Tender stem Broccoli Is there anything more delicious than lamb slow cooked in red wine and herbs, until the meat is so tender it melts in you mouth? I think not! I like my mash rustic; I also boil the potatoes with cloves of garlic for flavour. Whist I think I reduced the rosemary red wine sauce down a little too much, it was definitely packed with flavour. A hearty, affordable meal.

Prawn Noodle Soup

Prawn Noodle Soup I took inspiration from Vietnamese Prawn Pho to make this Prawn Noodle Soup. With hints of ginger, garlic and lemongrass; it was the perfect meal to warm me up on a windy winter's day. I added quite a lot of chilli to give it a kick, which is great especially if you are suffering from a cold! Filling and flavourful, I will definitely be making this again soon.
